In 2001 Robert Roithmayr graduated in Computer Science and Architecture at the Vienna University of Technology.
Since 2007 Robert Roithmayr is also legally certified engineer.
He is founder and owner of the Formfinder Software GmbH since 2006.
From 2009 to 2013 he was Chairman of the section "Architecture and Planning" of The Austrian Association of Engineers- and Architects (OIAV).
In 2010 he initiated the international post graduate MEng. Program at the Vienna University of Technology and is now based at the Danube University Krems.
The design and engineering of lightweight membrane structures and the development of the Formfinder Software are the prime objectives of Robert Roithmayr's professional life. Today Robert Roithmayr acts as planner and consultant on major international projects involving lightweight membrane structures.
Since 1970 the architect Horst Dürr is engaged in the field of membrane and cablenet structures by doing design, consulting and in combination with a team of experts (IF Group). He also did a lot of projects as site manager. He has also been the technical director of Stromeyer Konstanz. From 1973 to 1980 he was the CEO of IPL Konstanz and since 1980 Partner of the IF Group.
